Dividing Fractions

 Dividing fractions is like multiplying them, but you have to flip the fraction upside down. For example, in the equation 4/3 divided by 2/9, you would flip the 2/9 around so that it's now 9/2. You then multiply the Numerators and Denominators. You then simplify.

Multiplying Fractions!

With Whaea Lana, I learnt to multiply mixed fractions in two ways. In the first, you turn the numbers into an improper fraction, you then multiply the numerators, and then the denominators. In the second way, you just multiply the whole numbers, then the fractions.

Skate-Scare!

 In class, we wrote a moment in time writing. this is mine. Next week I will be focusing on controlling dashes, colons, and semi-colons.

Volleyball tournament: my opinion

my two cats:

These are our cats, Jack and Misty (Jack is the ginger boy and Misty is the black/grey girl). They are very playful and like to cuddle, especially Jack! Misty likes to cuddle too, but she likes to sleep a lot more. She also really likes to eat, as well. She does this really weird thing where she just walks around in the hallway, and then when someone comes near her, she goes up to the wall, does a rolly-polly into the wall, then flips upside down. Then, when we try to pat her, she gets up and gets us to follow her to the laundry (where we keep the cat food). what strange things do your pets do? Comment below!

Volleyball

 Today we went to a volleyball tournament, and we won 3/4 of our games. it was really fun and I learned a lot of skills. I encourage anyone who sees this to try volleyball, even if you aren't good at sports!
